New Year Green Tea from Anatolia

New Year Green Tea from Anatolia

This special New Year tea prepared by Lazika for the American market has found its place in Turkey due to the interest it received. Inspired by the fact that the roots of Santa Claus, the symbol of the New Year, extend to Antalya/Demre, we wanted to tell a story reaching from Anatolia to the world.

Prepared with green tea leaves collected from the high slopes of the Black Sea, this tea offers a light and clear green tea taste with a refreshing aroma roasted in a pan. Suitable for any time of day.

Ingredients

Handmade green tea

Brewing Recommendation

• Use fresh, oxygen-rich water that has not been boiled before.
• Green teas should be brewed with water at 85-90 degrees Celsius. You can let the boiling water cool for 2 minutes before brewing.
• Place the tea in the teapot and pour the boiling water over it.
• Brew for 4 minutes, then transfer the tea to a cup.
• If you brew for too long, the tea may become bitter.
• To preserve the flavor, store your tea in a closed container in a cool, dry, and dark place. Herbal teas absorb moisture easily, which can shorten the recommended usage period.
