Handmade Green Tea

We hand-pick and hand-process tea leaves from the high villages of the Çamlıhemşin basin. The leaves, harvested as grade 2.5, are transformed into green tea using traditional Chinese methods. We can produce only limited quantities each year.

Lazika Green Tea is very clear, flavorful, and easy to drink. Due to minimal processing, it naturally contains polyphenols and antioxidants.

Green tea has been the crown jewel of Chinese tea culture for thousands of years. We have brought this ancient tradition to the slopes of the Kaçkar Mountains: minimal processing, great care, and carefully harvested fresh tea leaves.

Handmade 2.5 grade green tea

Brewing Recommendation

• Use fresh water rich in oxygen that has not been boiled before.
• Green tea should be brewed with water at 85-90°C. You can let boiling water cool for 2 minutes before brewing.
• Place the tea in the teapot and pour the boiling water over it.
• Steep for 4 minutes, then transfer the tea to a cup.
• If steeped for too long, the tea may become bitter.
• To preserve flavor, store your tea in a closed container in a cool, dry, and dark place. Herbal teas absorb moisture easily, which may shorten the recommended shelf life.
