Black Tea

First harvest black tea from the high villages of Rize. Filtered twice to avoid dust. It has a clear, rich, and strong flavor.

Tea from high villages has its own unique strong flavor. The microclimate at high altitudes gives the tea brightness and a deep character.

Lazika black tea is produced and packaged using traditional methods at the Lazika facilities in Rize / Ardeşen.

Brewing Recommendation

Good tea requires good water first.

• Use fresh, oxygen-rich water that has not boiled too much.
• Boil the water but do not let it boil vigorously.
• Pour the tea over the water, not the water over the tea. (This is important!)
• Turn down the heat and let your tea steep for 17 minutes.
• When the tea settles at the bottom of the teapot, it indicates that the tea is brewed.
• We recommend using 30 grams of tea for 1 liter of water.
• And then? Enjoy it. 🍃

To preserve the flavor, store your tea in a closed container in a cool, dry, and dark place.

Tea easily absorbs moisture, which can shorten its shelf life.
