Karavan Hosts Askar Kadirov, Secretary-General of the Turkic World Logisticians Alliance
Askar Kadirov, Secretary-General of the Turkic World Logisticians and Cargo Carriers Alliance, visited the Karavan office for a comprehensive review of ongoing strategic cooperation and the logistics corridor development roadmap signed in Tashkent.
Türk Dünyası Lojistikçiler ve Kargo Taşıyıcıları İttifakı Genel Sekreteri Askar Kadirov, Karavan ofisini ziyaret etti. İki taraf arasındaki görüşme, Kasım ayında Taşkent'te imzalanan Stratejik İş Birliği Anlaşması çerçevesinde belirlenen yol haritasının gözden geçirilmesine odaklandı.
Meeting Agenda
The discussions covered three main areas:
- Strategic cooperation between Karavan and the Alliance across Turkic States
- Development of trade and logistics corridors — with particular focus on digitising documentation, reducing dwell times at border crossings, and improving freight visibility
- Implementation roadmap — concrete milestones and responsibilities stemming from the strategic cooperation agreement signed in Tashkent the previous November
Context
The Turkic World Logisticians and Cargo Carriers Alliance represents freight and logistics operators across TDT member states. Its mandate includes facilitating cross-border freight movement, advocating for harmonised transport regulations, and building capacity among logistics SMEs in the region.
Karavan's cooperation agreement with the Alliance, signed in Tashkent in November 2025, provides a framework for joint development of digital infrastructure to support trade flows along the major corridors connecting Türkiye, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and beyond.
